At Olsen, we recommend chimney venting for oil furnaces whenever possible. When it isn't a viable option, Olsen DirectVent is the economical, easy heating solution for new homes, or to switch off the high price of electric heat!
Q. What is the Olsen DirectVent Furnace?
A. The DirectVent Furnace is a top quality, high efficiency balanced flue furnace that releases combustion products to the outdoors through a vent on the side of the house, rather than a traditional chimney. Much like a dryer's venting system, this method utilizes the burner to efficiently force the combustion products from the heating equipment.

Q. There isn't enough basement height to allow a 12" clearance to grade. What can I do?
A. A riser kit is available to use in lieu of the standard vent terminal. It will provide an additional 39 inch rise to solve low clearance to grade problems.
